Tamanda Kanjaye is a Malawian writer and poet with a small scattering of publications. She is known for her short and emotional pieces that explore the gritty ebb and flow of the human experience. She is also a senior editor with Africa in Dialogue and was one of the guest editors for Lolwe issue 9. 

An alumni of the Bachelor’s Degree programme in Journalism and Media studies at the University of Malawi – The Polytechnic, she is a staff associate and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Media Studies at the same institution. 

She is also the founder and curator of Nthano Press - a forthcoming Malawian literary magazine.
